Neuromodulators
Neuromodulators, such as Botox, Dysport, Daxxify, and Xeomin, are injectable treatments used to reduce the appearance of cosmetic wrinkles by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause them. These products work by blocking the nerve signals that stimulate muscle contractions, thereby smoothing out dynamic wrinkles—such as crow’s feet, frown lines, and forehead lines—that result from repetitive facial expressions. The procedure is minimally invasive and typically involves a few quick injections with little to no downtime, allowing individuals to return to their daily activities immediately. Results usually begin to appear within a few days and can last for three to six months, depending on the specific product used and individual factors. Neuromodulators can provide a natural-looking, refreshed appearance without altering overall facial expression, as they selectively target only the muscles responsible for wrinkle formation. Regular treatments can help maintain results and prevent the deepening of wrinkles over time.
